As a mom of 2 boys, I was thrilled to learn our last baby would be a girl. I was more of a tom boy growing up, but I always loved my mom braiding my hair and my dad's favorite was when I wore my hair in pigtails. Now that I have a daughter of my own I can't wait to braid her hair and one day she'll hopefully keep a bow in her hair, but today she let me place two tiny little pigtails in her hair and it made me so happy.
