‘Me’ Box

Last Friday Andrew brought home the ‘me’ box from preschool and today Ethan had his turn. The ‘me’ box is a box for ‘show and tell’ time with their class. Each kid selects 3-6 items which tell who they are, such as pictures, favorite toy, book, etc.

Andrew selected a few monster trucks (typical boy), one of his favorite ‘spot goes to school’ books, his lion mask he likes to pretend with and a baby picture from when he was 7 months old and at the last minute he threw in his stuffed animal Pluto. Here is Andrew bringing the ‘me’ box back to school to show all his friends.

The very first thing Ethan did this afternoon after school was fill up his ‘me’ box. He put in his baby and mommy penguins that he adores, ‘splat the cat’ book, a silly band, and he is thinking about what else he wants to include. Here is Ethan with the ‘me’ box watching Phineas and Ferb.

This is such a cute idea for any preschool age kid, they take such pride in the ‘me’ box and showing all their new friends at school. I am loving this age!
