Boys wanted to spend their allowance as soon as we handed over the money. I told them we would go to a few stores so they could look, but that they didn’t have to purchase something at the first store. Try explaining that again as your sons stare down a aisle full of toys they just have to have. We spent over an hour looking through the selection and they finally decided on a toy at the first store, ha! They were so cute paying for their new toys and carrying out their own bags. We discussed on the way home that if they save their money (Ethan insisted that you have to store the money in your piggy bank in order to save) they can accumulate more money in order to buy something that cost more bucks, as Andrew calls it. Ethan purchased a Optimus Prime that transforms itself and Andrew a remote control car.
Ethan top, Andrew bottom!
